The home was positioned to maximize enjoyment of the oak grove at the rear of the homesite, with large rear-facing windows and outdoor spaces designed to frame and celebrate the natural landscape.
Bellwether collaborated with arborists to establish protective measures, including buffer zones and minimal-impact construction practices, ensuring the grove remained undisturbed.
Architects at Court Atkins Group designed a structure that harmonized with the environment, featuring materials and subtle tones that complemented the surroundings and gave homage to the Lowcountry architectural vernacular. Open-concept spaces and large windows created a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living areas, enhancing the homeowners’ interaction with nature.
